This month has brought me and Danny both so many new experiences. It's been a wonderful first chapter to our lives together. Thank you everyone for the wedding wishes and making this experience that much more fantastic! The weather was great and everything went so smoothly. There was a little bit of a "scare" but it all turned out just fine.

Our honeymoon in Washington state was fantastic. I freaking love Twilight even more now. We watched it our first night back in town and we made a vow to each other, that every year on our anniversary we're going to watch Twilight (and of course New Moon, Eclipse, & Breaking Dawn when they are on DVD)! It's something that we'll be able to watch the rest of our lives and it reminds us of being there.
We flew to Seattle Saturday morning (May 23rd) and then drove to Enumclaw (Kasey Kahne's hometown). We spent the night there. We visited the Kasey Kahne Store and the lady gave us a few ideas for a nice dinner. We choose Cafe Panini. It was great. We had lasagna and lemonade. After that, we walked around town for a bit and took a scenic drive on highway 410. Sunday morning we had doughnuts in a park and then did some caching in the area. Then we set off for La Push. The drive was visually amazing. A little scary, there's some pretty high cliffs we drove along. Our first view of the ocean was just a peek through some very tall trees, but it made us both say, WOW. We got to La Push and checked in. The view from our cabin was perfect. Monday, we did nothing but enjoy the beach. We picked up rocks & driftwood and took so many pictures! Tuesday we drove back to Forks, did a little Twilight sight-seeing and got a couple geocaches. We hiked to Third Beach too- 45 minutes there, and probably like an hour to make it back to the car. Wednesday we hung out on the beach again. It was pretty much empty all day. There wasn't many people there all week actually, most of them left after Monday. Thursday we decided to drive through Olypmic National Park & the Hoh Rainforest. It was gorgeous! We stopped at two amazing trees. One was a 550 year old spruce in the rainforest. The other was the world's largest cedar, and it was over a 5 mile drive on a horrible one lane gravel road. That evening we drove to Port Angeles. We had dinner at Bella Italia (Bella & Edward's first date in the book) and we walked down to the pier. The sunset drive back to our cabin in La Push was beautiful. Lake Cresent is amazing. The water was so calm and clear. Friday morning, Danny got up early and made us pancakes. It was so foggy, we couldn't see the ocean from our cabin. We checked out and drove down to the beach parking lot and went out for one more walk. We watched a dog playing with harbor seals, bald eagles fishing, and we took some final beach pictures. During our drive back to Enumclaw, we stopped at Ruby's Beach and Promiseland Park. By the time we got to Enumclaw, most everything was closed. We walked around downtown looking for a place to eat. We walked by an adorable ice cream parlor and decided, dessert was first tonight. We had some amazing ice cream and got some fudge for the plane ride home in the morning. We watched a pizza guy drive by as we were eating our ice cream and decided that's what we would have for dinner. We tracked down the pizza place and ordered a pizza and took it back to our hotel room. Saturday morning we drove ourselves back to Seattle and got on our plane home. =]
