I feel like I need to update my journal... but, I don't have a lot to say. Although, by the time I'm done typing, there will probably be quite a lot here! haha.

So, we got married and went on our honeymoon to Forks/LaPush, Washington. Got back home and spent a couple months looking at houses. We found THE house and went through that whole process, which was very smooth by the way! We closed August 21 and began working on it. The house was built in the 50's and the previous owner bought it like two years after it was built. So she had been in the house for like 47 years I think they said. That's very nice, but that also meant it was a very grannyish interior. There was lots of floral wallpaper. Floral flooring in the kitchen and bath. Oh yes, and a very blue bathroom... ya know- blue toilet, blue sink, blue tub!

It was a project. The work took almost a month. We moved in September 19. The house has completely transformed. We pulled up carpet and refinished the wood floors underneath. We got new flooring for the kitchen and bathroom. We completely redid the bathroom. So much painting.. I never want to paint again! hahaha. I'd share pictures on here, but there's so many. We are very happy in the new place. It suits us. We can't wait to spend our first holiday season here. I'm ready to put up our Christmas tree! lol.


As for work, well I'm getting a few people asking for family portraits this Fall, so hopefully *crosses fingers* I'll have plenty to upload. Annnd, I'm doing my first wedding in just 11 months! lol. It's going to be great. I'm excited.
